As we move through the holiday season, I want to take the time to thank all of my regular readers and those who stop by occasionally as well. I really appreciate all of you who have been trading Likes and comments back and forth with me in the last years.
Today, I wanted to share a contemplation for honoring the year that has been.
As I have been teaching Sustaining Story workshops, I get requests for this particular quote:
This is a helpful sentiment for many of us to remember when we look back over the last year. Maybe there are some things we didn’t accomplish that we would have liked to have done. Or maybe you have had a perfect year. In any case, spend some time this holiday season, honoring yourself and your work in the world.
I particularly like to reflect on how life is going during the solstices.
The winter solstice is coming up this Sunday (or summer solstice for those of you in the southern hemisphere). If you have a chance, take some quiet time on Sunday to make intentions for the time between now and the next solstice.
Do you have any intentions for creating kindness, beauty and compassion in the new year?
