It’s Never Too Late to Enjoy Your Life!

The Eiffel Tower on a beautiful sunny day in Paris
Last year we saw the Eiffel tower!

It’s that time of year again, when I like to plan our family travels. It’s about this time last year, that we decided that we would travel to Europe last summer. That was an excellent decision, and a wonderful adventure.  My mother once again is showing me that it is never to late to have some fun.

This year is my mother’s 85th birthday.  And my mom thought it would be a great idea to travel with my brother and me to some place special on that day.  For a long time, she couldn’t decide where to go, because she has been to so many places, and isn’t quite up to going to Australia and New Zealand where she would really like to visit.

This year my mom would like to see Las Vegas!
This year my mom would like to see Las Vegas!

This week, she came up with her destination of choice to celebrate her birthday – Las Vegas, Nevada.

She has never been there before, and she would like to see the shows and do a little gambling.

I hadn’t seen this idea coming, but my mother is still wanting to have a lot of fun, and thankfully, healthy enough for the trip.

My mom would love to take the boys on an East Coast adventure this year. We all would like to visit NYC. The boys have never been there!

We actually have another trip idea with my boys.  I think we’re going to do a bit of sweeping tour of New England and Quebec.  We want to fly to New York City and then drive to West Point in memory of my Dad.  Then travel up to Montreal then Quebec City and  back to the U.S.through Maine with a visit to Acadia National Park, then through Boston and Cape Cod and ending back in NYC.

We may have a busy travel time in June once again!

My work adventures continue to evolve. From an eco-project standpoint, I’m continuing to work with the National Water Center in Arkansas, and more locally on a Home Composting initiative for the City of Aurora, Sustainable Aurora Board.  I’m also developing some retreats focused around natural cycles of growth in life and business, that I hope to be able to release in the second half of this year. As all these projects grow and expand, I’ll be sharing what I’m learning with you.

Hope you are all having a wonderful start to 2015!  I would love to hear about your plans for travel, work, and fun in the upcoming year!
